If you haven’t already, mark your calendars for June 14 – 17, 2016. The Gulf of Mexico Alliance is planning a robust 2016 All Hands meeting in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Priority Issue Teams are in the process of finalizing their Team agendas.

Tuesday unofficially starts All Hands with several pre-meetings. Meetings include:

  • Joint Landscape Conservation Cooperatives Meeting (GOMA-GCPO-GCP)
  • Coastal Impact & Assistance Program Workshop
  • Monitoring Community of Practice Planning Meeting
  • Oil Spill Outreach Meeting

Wednesday morning will kick-off the meeting with an Opening Plenary. The plenary will include a Healthy and Resilience Coast Panel. On Wednesday afternoon, the Alliance is hosting a new Tools Café. Some twenty exhibitors will share their online resources with participants that afternoon. The day concludes with a networking reception.

Thursday and Friday are dedicated working sessions for the Priority Issue Teams and Cross-Team Initiatives. Participants will support the Teams by developing key actions for the upcoming fiscal year. The implementation of the new Gulf Star Program in the fall will spur much of the discussion.
