Partners around the Gulf of Mexico are gearing up to Embrace the Gulf in the next year, 2020. Paddle the Gulf will connect blueways across the five U.S. Gulf states. It is a wonderful way to celebrate what the Gulf of Mexico has to offer by kayaking and canoeing these paddle trails. Organizers of the project need a new logo. They are accepting logo designs from student designers with awards for the top ranked logos.

ABOUT PADDLE THE GULF: The purpose of the Paddle the Gulf (PTG) project is to connect and showcase blueways (kayak/canoe paddling trails) across the Gulf Coast, including the states of Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida. By showcasing these blueways, the project seeks to increase public understanding of coastal resources and promote stewardship of those resources. The project will inform and inspire people to be more connected to nature by paddling coastal streams and rivers that flow into the Gulf of Mexico.
Some key words that people think of when they hear Paddle the Gulf will be: kayaking, canoeing, paddling, rivers, streams, Gulf of Mexico, Gulf States, nature, water, coast, outside.
