The Gulf of Mexico Alliance (Alliance) is making excellent progress on many of its goals. We invite you to help us as we are beginning the early stages of planning for Action Plan IV. Please take this survey to inform our progress.

In June of 2016, the Alliance released the Governors’ Action Plan III for Healthy and Resilient Coasts. It is the third in a series of action plans to address issues common to all five Gulf States in a voluntary and cooperative way. Action Plan III was an ambitious five-year plan combining new and ongoing regional priorities, including coastal resilience, data and monitoring, education and engagement, habitat resources, water resources, and wildlife and fisheries. It added new, Team cross-cutting issues marine debris, ecosystem services, and conservation, restoration and resilience planning. Our Teams have worked hard to implement projects under this plan.

As Action Plan III is reaching completion, it is time to begin strategic planning for the Alliance’s next action plan. As part of the strategic planning process, we are re-evaluating the focus areas under the six priorities and three cross-team initiatives with input from state and federal agencies, academia, non-governmental organizations, and businesses in the region.

Please take the time to respond to this eight question survey. http://survey.constantcontact.com/survey/a07egsvje3gk4a0pcjy/start
