GOMA’s Federal Working Group recently hosted a webinar focused on the “America the Beautiful” initiative. Kate Kelly, Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy, Department of the Interior, and Dr. Letise LaFeir, Senior Advisor at NOAA, spoke on the initiative, which is a locally-led nationwide effort to conserve, connect, and restore 30% of lands and waters across the U.S. by 2030. A variety of organizations will be able to participate in this inclusive and collaborative effort, including those that already have existing programs.
