We are pleased to welcome Kate Harrison as our new Program Coordinator supporting the Water Resources Team! Kate previously worked at Mote Marine Laboratory researching human health in relation to red tide and completing her doctoral degree. Before her move to the research side, she was a food safety inspector for the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Kate lives on a 110-acre farm in south Alabama with her husband and Newfoundland dogs. When not working, she can be found tending to their cattle, chickens, and fruit orchard, or making an appearance in their country store.
