We are excited to announce our partnership with the NASEM Gulf Research Program to serve as a host office for their Science Policy Fellowship.

A fellow selected to work with us will gain hands-on experience as they spend one year on our staff taking a lead role on the 2026 Gulf of Mexico Conference’s Program Committee and co-developing meetings to expand partnerships and accomplish actions related to GOMA’s Priority Issue Teams. In addition, the fellow will gain experience in grant writing, management, and reporting; serve on grant proposal review and selection committees; and gain experience in the scientific review process for proposed restoration projects.

Key Details:

  • Must have completed or currently be enrolled in a master’s or doctoral degree program.
  • Stipend: $58K–$63K/year based on qualifications.
