To help Hurricane Ian recovery, GOMA recently awarded a hurricane mini-grant to the Institute for Diversity and Inclusion in Emergency Management (I-DIEM), a non-profit working to integrate equality into all aspects of emergency management.

I-DIEM Equity Response Teams help under-served communities find resources after a storm. Funds will be used to expand these teams in impacted areas, supporting an additional 26 team members.

GOMA has previously funded hurricane mini-grants to help in the aftermath of hurricanes Ida, Irma, and Harvey.

We know the needs are many in the communities impacted by Hurricane Ian and we will continue looking for ways to help in the future.
