Congratulations to Rhonda Price for receiving the 2022 Gulf of Mexico Climate and Resilience Community of Practice Spirit of Community Award. Rhonda is the Director of the Office of Restoration and Resilience for the Mississippi Department of Marine Resources and has also served as the Chair of GOMA’s Coastal Community Resilience Team for over 15 years. From assisting communities with resilience planning to developing resources and preserving the heritage of special places along the coast, Rhonda’s 25 years of work have made a lasting impact on the region. She was recognized earlier this month at the Climate and Resilience Community of Practice Annual Meeting in Sarasota, Florida.
