Behavioral Change Workshop
February 9, 2017, 9:00am-3:00pm
Motivating people to stop littering or to change their diet is asking them to change their behavior. Not an easy job. Join the Apalachicola National Estuarine Research Reserve for a workshop on how to craft a message that results in behavioral change. Salter Mitchell, a nationwide marketing and communication agency focused on behavioral change, will share their successful strategies on February 9th, from 9:00am-3:00 pm at ANERR in Eastpoint. Workshop participants will learn the application of behavior change outreach that will shift how they think about and conduct educational outreach efforts, and will leave feeling more confident about putting this practice into action. The workshop will cover key steps to creating a successful behavior change effort — from determining one’s target behavior and audiences, to conducting research, to developing a plan with creative components purposefully designed to influence behavior. The workshop is free but you MUST register. To register go to http://gulfalliancetraining.com/detail.aspx?Id=140.
